Magnificent Publications assisted the American Public Health Association in creating a pocket guide for use in disaster response. Developed in collaboration with the author of the initial manuscript, a nationally recognized public health expert, Public Health Management of Disasters: The Pocket Guide contains lists of high-priority tasks for first responders and discusses specific responses for earthquakes, large-scale food poisoning, and other threats. Other titles edited for APHA include: Collaborative Research: University and Community Partnership; Collision on I-75; Community Oriented Primary Care; It Is Well with My Soul; and The Emergence of AIDS: The Impact on Immunology.
“Magnificent Publications has a knack for taking unfamiliar content and handling everything from author input through typesetting. They’ve come up with a good organization of material, including section and chapter flow, enhancing the logic of the material—and they keep our authors very happy. We use them for books with a high sales profile, and the books they work on sell very well.”
